7 Best Places for Nightlife in Kauai

Trees Lounge

Trees Lounge is located at 440 Aleka Place, Kapaa, on the east side of the island. It is known for offering island music, drinks, food, and other kinds of entertainment from Monday to Saturday. One notable thing about this place is that it has plenty of space, so it is the go-to place for many locals who like to stretch their joints after a day’s work. Trees Lounge is also popular because they open relatively late. Some performers don’t begin their sets until around 9 p.m., which also means that they are likely to stay longer into the night.

Tahiti Nui

This is a well-known place at 5-5134 Kuhio Hwy, Hanalei, North Shore. Tahiti Nui has become iconic due to its being one of the filming locations in The Descendants movie.  This place stays open late into the night. It features music played by local bands, dancing, and karaoke which are some of the best things to do in Kauai at night. Rob’s Good Times Grill

Situated on the East side at Rice Shopping Center, 4303 Rice St., Lihue, Rob’s Good Times Grill is a nightclub, family restaurant, and sports bar all in one. Nightlife at this place is relatively pronounced and long: they offer night dancing and music by DJs from 10 pm to 2 am, Tuesdays through Fridays.
