Walk to beautiful Kamaole III Beach, 20 yards from the property’s entrance. There you’ll find a beautiful stretch of soft sandy beach and pristine snorkeling reef – often inhabited by our magical sea turtles, who feast on algae. Alongside the beach is Maui’s longest contiguous beach walking path, a trail that takes you past five distinctive beaches, all the way past the Wailea resorts.
This condo has been tastefully upgraded throughout and lovingly set up as the owners’ second home. A tri-zone split AC system chills the entire unit. High-speed Wi-Fi, premium cable, and free parking are also included.
A spiral staircase accesses the ensuite Master Bedroom, which adjoins a tiled tub and shower. The downstairs guest bedroom also has a King. There is also a sofa sleeper and in-unit Washer-Dryer. Beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, umbrella and towels are included.
With more than a dozen restaurants, and myriad stores and shopping outlets within a few blocks, and its location two blocks from Wailea’s famed resorts, this beautiful condo is the ideal home base for your upcoming Maui trip.
This immaculate property, managed by Vacation-Maui, is complete with beach gear, including beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, and a small cooler. Due to back-to-back bookings, cleaning, and maintenance schedules, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or later. Check-out time is no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Early check-ins and/or late checkouts cannot be accommodated. Please plan accordingly. If you have a late flight, we suggest booking another night to get the most out of your time on the island.
All units are equipped with smart locks. The door code will not work until the check-in time and will stop working precisely at the check-out time.

Rental Policies
Cancellation Policy
Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival and will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.
Cancellations must be in writing. Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund.
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.
If the reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival, there shall be no refund.
Payment Terms
All Prices are in US Dollars. No payment is due at the time of booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival and will be charged to your card on file.
Security Deposit
No Security Deposit is collected. However, the guest may be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and many of amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.

Parking:
Parking is permitted only in the designated spaces.
Owners Closet:
The locked closet contains owners' personal items. Please be respectful.
Garbage:
Roaches are a common problem in the tropics. Please keep the kitchen clean from bread crumbs and food spills. Dispose of all trash at least every day.
Quiet Hours:
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. Please be respectful of others. No loud parties, no music outside after 10 pm.
Pets:
No pets allowed.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. Smoking is permitted outside in the designated areas only.
Arrival:
Arrival instructions will be emailed to you 14 days prior to your arrival.

Great place to stay
This is a great place to stay, 4 minutes walk to the beach. Short driving distance to small plaza with restaurants and Foodland grocery with a lot of poki :) My lids were happy :)

Great Condo- Amazing Location
Our family of 5 - mom, dad, 2 kids (11 & 13) and grandma - loved our stay at Kamaole Sands. The location was perfect. If you want to minimize drive time to all the east Maui locations (road to Hanna, Haleakala, airport) stay in Kihei. We so appreciated not having to drive an extra hour after doing all of our activities like we had to when we stayed in Kaanapali. The beaches in Kihei are awesome too. They have a great beach to learn to surf called Kalama Beach Park. There are plenty of places to eat and get provisions that are in walking distance from the condo too.
As for the property itself, it was great! Being from Florida, we appreciated the 3 air conditioners in the condo. The unit was very well stocked for our arrival. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal for a family of 5 or more. We also appreciated that the door to the condo has a code so we did not need to carry around a key. There were about 6 beach chairs, a couple of noodles, beach toys, snorkel fins and a rolling cooler provided as well in the outdoor closet.
The only complaint we had is that the mattress in the sofa bed needs to be changed. My kids ended up sleeping with grandma and that was a bit uncomfortable for 10 days. And I want to stress that if they do not change this mattress, do not expect an adult or a child to sleep comfortably in that bed. I tried it as I thought my kids were exaggerating but I only lasted 1/2 an hour. Other than that, the unit was perfect.
