Aloha and welcome to Molokai Island Retreat!
Molokai Island Retreat is located on the highly desirable lush east end of Molokai in the Wavecrest Resort. Our third floor condo has the benefit of having a bird's eye view of both the ocean, with stunning views all the way to Maui, and the beautifully manicured gardens of Wavecrest. We are close to spectacular beaches, hiking and waterfalls. It is a beautiful 13 mile drive from the town of Kaunakakai.
We have just recently remodeled our condo with updated kitchen cabinets, fresh paint, brand new ceiling fans, new decor, new Keurig coffee pot, linens and more, making it feel and look like a brand new condo!
We are able to provide an exceptional experience by owning and hosting our condo personally, along with our island rep who is available should any need arise. We are not a property management company or a large corporation. We want each and every one of our guests to have a fantastic stay with all the comforts of home available to you.
We have furnished our condo with all you will need for a fun and relaxing stay: Cooler, Beach Chairs, Beach Towels, Sunbrella, Boogie Board, noodles, goggles and snorkeling gear.
We also provide extra amenities you may have left behind such as razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Features a fully stocked kitchen with combo pod/coffee maker, grinder, Brita filter, microwave, spices, condiments and oils.
With the fantastic location on the third floor, you have the added bonus of complete privacy and no overhead noise from the guests above. Relaxing on the lanai with the picturesque views of the ocean and coconut trees swaying in the breeze is one of our favorite things to do. You can also spend a carefree afternoon swimming in the oceanfront pool, playing a game of tennis/pickleball and shuffle board, or hanging out in the cabana. If you want to kickback for a bit in the condo, you can enjoy Netflix on the flat screen TV. If you need to spend some time working, we provide High Speed Spectrum wireless.

Rates are based on 4-people occupancy. Hawaii Occupancy Tax of 17.42% and cleaning fees are separate - refer to quote for exact numbers. No Smoking. Pets NOT allowed. We will send you a contract for your approval. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
Rental Policies
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations:
14+ days = Full refund*
7-13 days = 50% refund*
0-6 days = No refund*
(*All refunds are less credit card processing fees of 2.9% US, 3.9% outside of US)
If you cancel your reservation, and we’re able to rebook your reserved dates with another guest at the same daily rate, regardless of when the cancellation occurs, we’ll refund the amount for those rebooked dates to you. However, if we have to offer discounted rates to get a last-minute booking, the refund amount will reflect the discounted rate.
At the time of booking, we offer travel insurance, which we strongly advise you to consider. Please note that we can’t guarantee a refund for cancellations, and any refund will be subject to our cancellation policy and our ability to rebook the dates.
Payment Terms
Rates are displayed in US Dollars. Full payment is due upon booking.
For reservations a year or more out, 35% is due at time of booking. The 65% remaining will be due 60 days prior to arrival. If a Hawaii TAT or GET tax increase occurs after the time of booking, an adjustment will be made in the amount due to reflect the new tax amount.
Security Deposit
A $300 "Hold" will be placed on your credit card 2 days prior to your arrival and released within 7 days of your departure, pending no damages. We inventory and inspect the property before and after every stay. The guest will be charged for missing items, excessive cleaning, violations of the house rules, and any damage done to the property beyond normal wear and tear.
Release of Liability
Guests are granted access to Rental Property and the amenities that exist within the property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Guests agree to use any personal and real property belonging to the Homeowner at their own risk and agree to release Homeowner of all liability associated with using such property. Homeowner cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries that occur while Guest is in possession or use of property. Guests agree to further to take on any liability associated with a third-party guest visiting the Rental Property or use of the Homeowner's property. Homeowner does not permit use of any of Homeowner's Property other than by the Guest and hereby disclaims any claims of liability associated with the Rental Property or property within and around the rental unit.
A signed rental agreement will be required upon booking.
House Rules
- Guests must sign rental agreement upon booking.
- Government ID matching the name on the credit card used required
- Must submit a $300 security hold that will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure
- All guests must register with the Wavecrest office immediately upon check in. Wavecrest assesses a $100 fine for noncompliance which will be deducted from your security deposit
- Minimum age limit for renters is 21
- Please remove shoes inside
- Maximum occupancy is 4 guests
- Smoking of any type is not permitted inside the unit or on the lanai. There is a designated smoking area outside in the parking area. Wavecrest assesses a $100 fine for each infraction which will be deducted from your security
deposit
- Please do not leave food on the counter as it will attract tropical island pests
- Please make sure to leave the parking permit and laundry key upon departure. Wavecrest assesses A $50 fee for each lost item (deducted from your security deposit)
- Guests are expected to read and follow Wavecrest Resort house rules (a copy is provided in the condo binder). Fines issued by Wavecrest Resort for rule violations or damages incurred during your stay will be deducted from your
security deposit.

Cari went above and beyond to help us out when room C301 pulled our room at the last minute (steer clear of her!!) . She not only got back to us quickly and got us set up for that very night, but she found a place for us the last night of our stay as she was already booked. The room was perfect and very well equipped, from the kitchen to the snorkel gear. But not for Cari's help we may have spent our vacation sleeping in our van. Can't say enough good about this host!! Mahalo from our family ❤️
